EPIC OG Sdn Bhd (EOGSB) organised the “First Steel Cut Ceremony” after being awarded the Provision of Hook Up & Commissioning Works for Berantai West Oil Development Project on 30 March 2023 by Vestigo Petroleum Sdn Bhd (Vestigo), a subsidiary of PETRONAS.

The event which took place at the EOGSB Fabrication Workshop was attended by EPIC Group Chief Executive Officer Encik Ridzuan Ali, Group Chief Operating Officer Haji Muhtar Suhaili, EOGSB General Manager Haji Irwan Mohamad Irwan Abdul, and Senior Project Manager Ir. Haji Mohd Hussien Mohd Salleh. Also present were representatives from Vestigo, namely Senior Project Manager Encik Mohd Rashid Jamil, and Project Manager Encik Mohd Rashidi Abd Razak.

This 13-month project commenced in April 2023 and is scheduled to conclude in May 2024, following its three main scopes of work; "pre-shutdown," "shutdown," and "pre-well tie-in package".
