EPIC Berhad yesterday hosted Terengganu State Secretary, YB Dato’ Haji Mohd Azmi Mohamad Daham, during a working visit to the Group’s operational premises in Teluk Kalong, Kemaman. The visit was conducted as part of the official programme of the Terengganu State Secretary’s Office.
Also in attendance were State Financial Officer, YBhg. Dato’ Haji Tun Ahmad Faisal Tun Abdul Razak; State Legal Advisor, YB Mohd Nawawi Ismail; Terengganu Inc President and Group Chief Executive Officer, YBhg. Dato’ Haji Burhanuddin Hilmi Mohamed @ Harun; Deputy State Secretary (Development) and State Economic Planning Unit (UPEN) Director, YBhg. Dato’ Haji Rosli Latif; Kemaman District Officer and Land Administrator, Tuan Haji Ahmad Nazwawi Harun; and Yang Dipertua Majlis Perbandaran Kemaman, Tuan Haji Zuwislan Awang.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the latest developments of the Kemaman Port Expansion Project, which is aimed at enhancing port capacity and infrastructure capabilities to support the continued growth of industrial, trade, and logistics activities along the East Coast. The delegation was also taken on a visit to the proposed site of Kemaman Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Regasification Terminal (RGT) Project, a strategic development expected to play a key role in strengthening gas supply security, particularly across the East Coast region, while further reinforcing Kemaman Port’s position as a strategic hub within the nation’s energy and logistics ecosystem.
This engagement reflects the Terengganu State Government’s continued support for strategic infrastructure development and a shared commitment to strengthening Kemaman Port’s role as a catalyst for economic growth in Terengganu and the wider East Coast region.
