EPIC OG Sdn Bhd (EOGSB), a subsidiary of EPIC Berhad, has further solidified its reputation for excellence by winning the Platinum Award in the Talent Development and Capability Building category at the International Malaysia Project Excellence Conference (IMPEC) 2025, held yesterday at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

Receiving the award on behalf of EOGSB from Malaysia Petroleum Management Production and Operations Management Senior General Manager, Encik Handan Ramli, was EPIC Berhad Group Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Ts. Haji Muhtar Suhaili. Also in attendance were Group Chief Financial Officer, Encik Wan Mohd Azilah Wan Abdullah and Energies General Manager, Haji Mohamad Irwan Abdul.

This recognition reflects the company’s consistent support for PETRONAS’ Personnel Development Programme since 2023 through initiatives such as the INSTEP Wakalah TVET 2024, PETRONAS Be Digital Bootcamp (2023 and 2024), Skill Trade Development 2025, and Industry-Specific Program Latihan Madani (“ISPLM”) 2025 in collaboration with the Construction Industry Development Board (“CIDB”).

Among its latest initiatives is the Skilled Trade Development – Rigging Programme, which focuses on developing specialised trades by enhancing local capabilities and strengthening technical excellence within the oil and gas support services sector. This effort aligns with EOGSB’s commitment to national development and its role as the PM-MCM contract holder, contributing to a more competitive and skilled local workforce.
