Terengganu Menteri Besar, YAB Dato’ Seri Ir. Dr. Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar, recently welcomed PETRONAS President and Group Chief Executive Officer, YM Tan Sri Tengku Muhammad Taufik Tengku Kamadjaja Aziz, for a courtesy visit and strategic discussion aimed at strengthening the state’s oil and gas industry.

This strategic engagement provided a platform to explore key collaborative initiatives between the Terengganu State Government and PETRONAS, aimed at maximising the energy sector’s impact for the benefit of the people. Among the focal points of discussion were talent development, job creation, and investment opportunities that could further accelerate Terengganu’s economic growth.

The meeting was attended by senior leaders from the state government, government-linked companies, and PETRONAS, including Terengganu State Secretary YB Dato’ Nara Setia, Terengganu State Economic Planning Unit Director YBhg. Dato’ Tun Ahmad Faisal Tun Abdul Razak and Terengganu Inc President and Group Chief Executive Officer Haji Burhanuddin Hilmi Mohamed @ Harun. Also present were EPIC Berhad Group Chief Executive Officer Dr. Ts. Haji Muhtar Suhaili and Group Chief Financial Officer, Encik Wan Mohd Azilah Wan Abdullah, who had the privilege of welcoming PETRONAS delegation.
