Appointment of Chief Executive Officer

We would like to congratulate En. Ramli bin Shahul Hameed on his appointment as the new CEO of EPIC Berhad effective from today.  We would like to extend our warmest welcome and best wishes as he begins his new career in EPIC Group.

En. Ramli bin Shahul Hameed, 40, was born on 5th September 1968. He’s married and has 3 children.  He holds a Master of Business Administration from AIU-AIM, Barchelor (Hons) Degree in Petroleum Engineering, University of Technology Malaysia (UTM).  He has 18 years experience in oil & gas industry and has previously held position of Managing Director and Director of various local and multinational corporations.

He was with Petronas Carigali Sdn. Bhd., serving in various capacities from 1991-1996 as a Drilling Engineer, Development Engineer (Seconded to EPMI) and International Development Engineer (Vietnam & Middle East).  He served as Operations Superintendent in Kemaman Supply Base since June 1996 to mid 1997 and was appointed as Project Manager of Shapadu Energy & Engineering Sdn. Bhd until December 1997. He has extensive experience and was appointed as the Managing Director of TATI Production Sdn. Bhd. from January 1998 to September 2002. In October 2002 to July 2003, he was appointed as the East Coast Director of Penaga Dresser Sdn. Bhd. and currently as the Managing Director of Conor Engineering & Services Sdn. Bhd. He is also a member of the Board of Engineers since 1992 and a Panel Advisor to University Technical Malaysia Melaka (UTem), Faculty of Mechanical Engineering-1998.
